Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Delivery Driver - Class C to perform local route deliveries with a strong focus on customer service. You will drive a Graybar truck, deliver orders on time and maintain positive customer relations, returning home each night on a weekday schedule.

Key responsibilities include route planning, loading/unloading, vehicle inspections, and accurate log maintenance. A valid state license, DOT exam readiness, and physical ability are required. CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies; safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away.

More than a job - a career.As a Delivery Driver - Class C, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
