Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is hiring a full-time driver to operate local routes from Waterville, ME. Expect a 4-day work week with start times between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM, depending on routes and preferences. You will drive a CDL‑B equipped vehicle, maintain DOT compliance, and interface with customers daily.

The role offers strong compensation, a robust benefits package, and a sign-on bonus after six months, plus safety and performance bonuses for meeting standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required and valid DOT medical card.
• Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and DOT standards.
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections.
• Strong communication and customer interfacing skills.
• Delivery experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of cargo box.
• Operate handheld/mobile devices for sales and delivery docs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily local routes from the Waterville, ME location.
• Support 4-day work weeks with early AM start times (2:00–5:00).
• Coordinate route organization and improve processes with local management.

• Valid Class B CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
• Delivery type job experience a plus
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of vehicle cargo box
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents
• NOTE: Starting compensation based upon skills and experience presented
