Oakhurst Dairy is hiring a delivery driver on a four-day schedule with early morning start times. The role involves local routes departing and returning to the home location, with a strong emphasis on safety, customer communication, and efficient route planning.

Job description

This employment opportunity is a great fit for a motivated, hard-working person that likes to work independently with a lot of variety throughout the workday. This position is a 4-day schedule with shift start times between 2:00AM-4:00AM depending upon the route and driver preferences. Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
• Existing or ability to obtain a DOT medical Card
• Operational Knowledge of Hours-of-Service rules and regulations
• Ability to perform safe pre/post trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Good communication skills and ability to interface positively with customers
• Delivery type job experience a plus
• Ability to lift up 50 lbs and safely climb in and out of vehicle cargo box
• Able to operate handheld/mobile computers to transact sales & delivery documents
• NOTE: Starting compensation based upon skills and experience presented
