Job summary

Lakeshore-Beverage is seeking a delivery driver to manage route deliveries and on-site merchandizing. This role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and timely execution while maximizing sales opportunities and rotating stock to keep products fresh.

The position requires CDL-A, up-to-date DOT certification, and a clean driving record, with on-going field coaching and adherence to company programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma/GED.
• Class A CDL required.
• DOT certificate up-to-date.
• Personal auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and merchandize products on assigned route.
• Adhere to company programs and policies for safe, timely delivery and minimized returns.
• Conduct daily Pre-Tip inspection of assigned vehicle.
• Move product into stores, restaurants and bars; rotate inventory to maintain freshness.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Follow approved delivery structure, identify spot sales opportunities.
• Participate in ride-along days with Delivery Manager and Team Leader for coaching.
• Complete deliveries within 12 hours or less per DOT requirements.

This position is accountable for delivery and merchandizing of all products on an assigned route.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESAdhere to Company programs and policies that will result in the safe execution of timely delivery, maximized sales, and minimized returns.Conduct a daily Pre-Tip inspection of his/her assigned vehicle.Ensures all required tools and equipment are available on the truck.Move product into stores, restaurants and bars.Rotate products already in inventory inside the store to maintain freshness.Maintain a clean driving record.Adhere to all DOT regulations.Follow the approved delivery structure and processes and will identify and fulfill spot sales opportunities.Maintain product freshness and move product when necessary.Will participate in “work with” and “ride with” days with the Delivery Manager and Delivery Team Leader to obtain coaching and training opportunities in the field.Must maintain a pace of work that enables drivers to complete their deliveries in 12 hours or less due to DOT regulations.SAFETYDue to the physical requirements, as well as the need to maintain a high level of continual alertness in the work environment, this is a safety-sensitive position.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSMust be at least 21 years of ageHigh School diploma/GEDMust have a driving record acceptable to the CompanyClass A CDL requiredDOT certificate up-to-datePersonal auto insurance
