Carter Lumber Company is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist in Toledo, OH. You will transport building materials to local jobsites, ensuring safe, timely delivery with our company-owned fleet.

Daily duties include unloading at the customer site and maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach while meeting delivery schedules. This role offers growth opportunities within a family-owned company with a long-standing history and values.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Current CDL license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time.
• Unloading materials at the jobsite using available equipment.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.

Description

TOLEDO, OH - As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift preferred
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
