Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites using our company-owned fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly, professional customer service.

On site, you will unload with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials where customers need them, contributing to a team-focused culture that values honesty and growth.

Qualifications

• Must have delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• Current CDL license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment preferred.
• Ability to be a reliable team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on schedule.
• Unload materials on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place where needed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain safe driving practices.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
