Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites, ensuring safety and timely deliveries. You will operate our company-owned fleet and provide friendly, professional service to customers, with routes that keep you close to home.

On-site duties include unloading using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and adhering to daily delivery schedules. A valid CDL, clean driving record, and experience with building materials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience preferred with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• Current CDL license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
