Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring a CDL Delivery Specialist in Millersburg, OH to transport orders to local jobsites using our well‑maintained, company‑owned fleet. You’ll perform each delivery with safety, reliability, and a customer‑friendly approach to reinforce our dependable service.

You’ll unload with a dump bed or truck‑mounted forklift and ensure daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly, professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• Valid CDL license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites using the company fleet, safely and on time.
• Unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials at the customer site.
• Maintain friendly, professional customer service and ensure daily delivery schedules are met.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
