Carter Lumber Company is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist in Ohio to transport orders to local jobsites, ensuring safe practices and timely delivery. You will unload using a dump bed or forklift and provide friendly customer service, keeping customers satisfied and informed.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Current CDL license and a clean driving record.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to local customer jobsites in a safe, timely manner.
• Unload materials using dump beds or truck-mounted forklift.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service on delivery.
• Support daily delivery schedules and route adherence.

Description:

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements:

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
