Job summary

Carter Lumber, through Holmes Lumber division, is hiring a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites with our fleet. You will ensure timely deliveries and friendly service, unloading materials on site with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift.

This full-time role offers a home-every-night schedule, teamwork, and growth from within; benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet.
• While on site, you will unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Description:
