Grand Home Furnishings is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our warehouse team in Roanoke, VA. This role is the final touchpoint in the customer experience, delivering furniture safely to homes and ensuring a smooth handoff.

You’ll load, transport, and deliver furniture, assemble on request, collect payments, and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining your vehicle in top condition. A strong work ethic and professional customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load, transport, and deliver furniture to customers' homes with care.
• Communicate delivery windows and changes to customers.
• Assemble and place furniture upon request, assist with moving.

What You’ll Do

Our Delivery Drivers are the final personal touchpoint in the customer's buying experience. Day to day, you'll:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Load, transport, and deliver furniture to customers' homes with care to prevent damage
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery windows and keep them informed of any changes
• Assemble and place furniture upon customer request, and assist with moving existing furniture as needed
• Collect payments, complete delivery paperwork, and process any authorized returns or exchanges
• Maintain your vehicle in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition

What We’re Looking For

• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policy
• Prior delivery or driving experience preferredComfortable interacting with the public and providing excellent customer service
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

What You’ll Earn

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and performance. Beyond your paycheck, we offer a full benefits package designed to support you:
