Job summary

Grand Furniture in southeastern Virginia is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our Distribution Center team. You will deliver and set up furniture in customers' homes, verify loads, and complete delivery paperwork.

You may supervise a Delivery Helper and assist with warehouse duties as needed. Candidates should have a valid driver's license with a clean record, at least 6 months of box truck driving experience, and be DOT qualified.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience driving a box truck or larger.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be DOT qualified and maintain required documents.
• Ability to read maps and follow oral/written directions.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass a lift assessment (push/pull up to 250 lbs with or without accommodations).
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather and warehouse conditions.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up furniture in customer homes.

Requirements

What you'll do

• No DUI, DWI, or Reckless Driving in the last 5 years
