Job summary

Liddiard Home Furnishings is seeking a dependable Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. You will safely deliver furniture, appliances, mattresses, and other home furnishings to customers' homes while providing friendly, professional service.

Our delivery team is a critical part of the customer experience. You will load and secure merchandise, navigate stairs and doorways, assemble items as needed, protect homes, and maintain clean, organized delivery vehicles and work areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move 50–100+ pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and care when handling customers' merchandise and homes.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Furniture delivery, moving, warehouse, appliance installation, or assembly experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver furniture, appliances, mattresses, and other merchandise to customers' homes.
• Load, unload, inspect, and secure merchandise for delivery.
• Carefully maneuver large and heavy furniture through homes, doorways, stairways, and other spaces.
• Assemble and set up furniture and appliances as needed.
• Protect customers' homes and merchandise during delivery.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at every delivery.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties between deliveries, including receiving, organizing, pulling and preparing merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle and work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.
• Work effectively as part of a delivery team.

• Furniture delivery, moving, warehouse, appliance installation, or assembly experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
