Job summary

Van Unen Miersma Propane Inc in California is seeking a Propane Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver propane safely to residential and commercial customers daily. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, follow DOT and company safety rules, and provide professional service while coordinating with dispatch and service teams.

On-call rotations and accurate reporting are part of the role. Excellent driving record, valid CDL, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required; benefits

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly.
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location.
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, including extended or after‑hours work as business needs require.

As a Propane Delivery Driver at Van Unen Miersma Propane, you’re not just moving product you’re the face of the company for customers who rely on propane every day. Your work directly impacts safety, reliability, and trust across our communities.

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

• You’re consistently completing safe, on-time deliveries while following DOT, safety, and company standards.
• Customers recognize you as a reliable point of contact and trust you in their homes and facilities.
• Your truck inspections, paperwork, and electronic reporting are accurate and completed daily.
• You’re comfortable participating in the on-call rotation and communicating clearly when schedules change.

What You’ll Actually Do in Your First 30 Days

• Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride‑alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (DDVIR) and document findings accurately
• Begin independent deliveries with support from dispatch and service teams
• Learn how we communicate with customers, handle after‑hours calls, and elevate service needs appropriately

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Pay: $28-32 per hour (Depending on Experience)
