Nicholas and Company in Reno, NV is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to distribute products to customers promptly. You will represent the company professionally and ensure safe, on-time deliveries according to DOT rules.

The schedule runs Sunday night through Thursday night, 7:00 pm until finished. The job pays $30.00 per hour and requires a Class A CDL, clean driving record, and strong communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience preferred and able to operate a delivery scanner.
• Must have Class A CDL and pass DOT requirements.
• Ability to perform basic math and maintain accurate invoices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Collect, sign, and code invoices correctly.
• Transport product safely to customer locations.
• Place product in designated delivery areas.
• Use electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for terms and collect funds when needed.
• Submit reconciliation sheets daily with funds and invoices.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks per DOT rules.
• Safe driving on assigned routes with proper hand-cart use.
• Notify supervisor of any delivery variances immediately.
• Follow traffic rules and report accidents or damages.
• Report customer issues to relevant teams.

Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Sunday night through Thursday night. From 7:00 pm - Until finished.

Pay:$30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Collect, sign, and correctly code all invoices.
• Transport product on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
• Place product in designated customer delivery area.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet standard hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for credit terms at each stop and collect funds when needed.
• Turn in reconciliation sheet along with collected funds and invoices to Returns Clerk daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Safely operate and deliver product within assigned route schedule using hand cart or by hand.
• Immediately notify supervisor, sales, etc. for any delivery variance via driver log/tracking system.
• Obey all traffic rules and immediately report accidents or damages, report repair issues immediately.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem-solving skills, report customer issues immediately.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
• Meets all DOT requirements and possess current medical card.
