Nicholas & Company Inc in Reno, NV is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport trailers from the depot to the distribution center. This full-time role offers $30.00 hourly with a Sunday night through Thursday night schedule, starting at 7:00 pm until finish.

Responsibilities include backhauls, local pickups, and accurate log tracking. Must meet DOT requirements and have strong communication skills, a clean driving record, and a current medical card.

Formación

• 21+ years of age.
• Class A CDL and medical card in good standing.
• One year of commercial driving experience.
• DOT regulations knowledge and safe driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and comply with hygiene standards.
• Keep equipment clean and report vehicle issues promptly.
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer in varying weather and traffic.
• Communicate routing changes to the Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT rules.
• Adhere to traffic laws and report accidents or damages.

Salary Range: $30.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Shuttle Driver

We are looking for a responsible Shuttle Driver to safely transport trailers from the depot to the distribution center. You will make deliveries, pick up backhauls, unload, transfer returns, and helping around the yard when needed.

Schedule: Sunday night through Thursday night. From 7:00 pm - Until finished.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Backhauls and/or local pickups when needed.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet standard hygiene requirements.
• Keep equipment clean and report any vehicle repair issues immediately.
• Safely operate a tractor trailer in traffic and in variable weather conditions.
• Report any routing changes and/or problems with timely delivery to Supervisor.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Obey all traffic rules and immediately report accidents or damages, report repair issues immediately.
• Successfully complete monthly safety training courses.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.
• Meets all DOT requirements and possess current medical card.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
