Nicholas & Company Inc in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to customers. You will represent our company professionally and ensure timely deliveries, with a 4-5 day work week starting 3:30 AM.

The role requires a Class A CDL, at least one year of commercial driving, DOT medical card, and strong interpersonal skills. Competitive hourly pay of $30, plus benefits, with routes on ramps and docks, and emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Sign, collect, and correctly code invoices.
• Transport product on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
• Place product in designated customer delivery area.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for credit terms and collect funds when needed.
• Turn in reconciliation sheet with funds and invoices to Returns Clerk daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Safely operate and deliver product within route schedule using a hand cart or by hand.
• Notify supervisor of any delivery variance via driver log/tracking system.
• Obey traffic rules and report accidents or damages.

Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: 4-5 day work week days scheduled between Monday-Saturday. From 3:30 AM- Until finished.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Collect, sign, and correctly code all invoices.
• Transport product on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
• Place product in designated customer delivery area.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet standard hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for credit terms at each stop and collect funds when needed.
• Turn in reconciliation sheet along with collected funds and invoices to Returns Clerk daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Safely operate and deliver product within assigned route schedule using hand cart or by hand.
• Immediately notify supervisor, sales, etc. for any delivery variance via driver log/tracking system.
• Obey all traffic rules and immediately report accidents or damages, report repair issues immediately.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem-solving skills, report customer issues immediately.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
• Meets all DOT requirements and possess current medical card.
