Job summary

Nicholas and Company in Cedar City, UT is seeking a Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to customers on a regular full-time schedule. This role requires a Class A CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to handle basic math and navigate routes.

You will operate delivery equipment, collect invoices, maintain safety standards, and uphold excellent customer relations while following DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meets all DOT requirements and possesses a current medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Collect, sign, and correctly code invoices.
• Transport product on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
• Place product in designated customer delivery area.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for credit terms and collect funds as needed.
• Turn in reconciliation sheet with funds and invoices daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Deliver product safely within assigned route schedule.

Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday and Saturday rotate as needed. From 2:00-5:00 AM - Until finished.

Pay:$30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery scanner at each stop.
• Collect, sign, and correctly code all invoices.
• Transport product on ramps, stairs, and/or docks.
• Place product in designated customer delivery area.
• Operate electronic log system to track stops and locations.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and meet standard hygiene requirements.
• Check invoices for credit terms at each stop and collect funds when needed.
• Turn in reconciliation sheet along with collected funds and invoices to Returns Clerk daily.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip in accordance with DOT regulations and company procedures.
• Safely operate and deliver product within assigned route schedule using hand cart or by hand.
• Immediately notify supervisor, sales, etc. for any delivery variance via driver log/tracking system.
• Obey all traffic rules and immediately report accidents or damages, report repair issues immediately.
• Demonstrate strong customer relations and problem-solving skills, report customer issues immediately.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• At least one year of commercial driving experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (with internal team members and customers).
• Meets all DOT requirements and possess current medical card.
