Job summary

DPI Staffing is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to deliver heavy restaurant equipment throughout the Portland metro area and surrounding regions. This temp-to-hire opportunity requires experience with 22–26-foot box trucks and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key duties include loading and unloading, planning efficient routes, and ensuring accurate paperwork and signatures. Candidates must have a valid license and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 22–26 ft box truck.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and make sound decisions throughout the workday.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 22–26 ft. box truck to deliver restaurant equipment to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and transport heavy products using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.

DPI Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver for our client, a reputable family-owned business with an excellent team environment, to deliver heavy restaurant equipment throughout the Portland metro area and surrounding regions. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right individual.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional OT)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 22–26 ft. box truck to deliver restaurant equipment to customer locations
• Load, unload, and transport heavy products using proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures accurately
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly
