Job description

Delivery truck driver position in Portland, OR.

This is a physically demanding role that requires consistent heavy lifting in a non‑climate controlled environment. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable working under these conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers safely and on time, strictly following Amarr’s policies in the Driver Handbook (e.g., pre‑trip inspections, log books, safe driving).
• Maintain all driver certification documents ready for display at all times.
• Assist in completing production orders in the warehouse when not driving.
• Accurately load and unload customers, inspecting for damaged materials.
• Unload and receive incoming product accurately.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Warehouse duties performed in a non‑climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50‑75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
• Successfully complete the internal Driver Training Program.
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Details

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (flexibility for early or late deliveries may be required).
