Job Description

Day Shift - Non-CDL Delivery Driver with Experience - Paid Weekly

Schedule is M-F, 40-hour work week beginning at 6:00 am. No nights. No weekends.

Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes; ensuring safe operation of vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of orders. Ensure that material loaded on the truck matches the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and is secured for safe transport. Unload materials at each delivery location, verifying correctness. Perform daily vehicle inspections for maintenance and safety. Handle all warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining an orderly warehouse.

This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and safety is imperative. Candidates must undergo a pre-employment drug test, screening for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidine, per HHS and SAMHSA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violations; or no more than one type B violation in the past 3 years.
• At least 1 year of driving experience in the past 36 months operating a commercial vehicle with GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input data accurately, reason, and analyze.
• Ability to work independently, completing various tasks accurately with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent driving in all weather conditions.
• Adherence to safety regulations, with exposure to noise and machinery.
• Regularly walk, bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, reach.
• Handle objects and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Qualified to drive a motor vehicle per Sec. 391.41; a Department of Transportation physical exam is required.
