Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co in Louisville is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport plumbing supplies using box trucks and flatbeds (non-CDL). You will load, verify counts, and provide courteous service to customers at the door.

We value safety, reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Must be 21+, have a valid license, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. A benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies and related products according to customer specifications.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed.

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies and related products according to customer specifications.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and OSHA standards and participate in company safety programs.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed.

OUR MUST HAVES:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Customer service focus with excellent communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Prior experience driving a box truck in shipping, receiving, or delivery preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
