Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co is hiring a Delivery Driver to safely transport plumbing supplies to customers in the Franklin area. You will operate box trucks, load and unload according to daily routes, and provide friendly, reliable service during every delivery.

Responsibilities include accurate order fulfillment, safety compliance, and teamwork with warehouse staff. Requires 21+, valid license, and DOT/OSHA readiness; experience with box trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Customer service focus with excellent communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Prior experience driving a box truck in shipping, receiving, or delivery preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies and related products according to customer specifications.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and OSHA standards and participate in company safety programs.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed.
