Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely deliver plumbing supplies in the Franklin area. You will operate company-owned and leased non-CDL box trucks and flatbeds, load according to schedules, and ensure accurate orders.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, teamwork with warehouse staff, and adherence to DOT/OSHA safety standards. Requires a valid license, 2+ years of box truck experience, and physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate box trucks and flatbeds (Non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies per customer orders.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and delivery requirements.
• Use equipment to load and secure shipments and ensure accurate orders.
• Verify shipping counts and adhere to safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Maintain safety certifications per DOT and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse and other teams as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies and related products according to customer specifications.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and OSHA standards and participate in company safety programs.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed.

OUR MUST HAVES:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Customer service focus with excellent communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Prior experience driving a box truck in shipping, receiving, or delivery preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
