Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Warehouse/Distribution Center Driver to deliver tires to our T.O. Haas shops from 4am to 3pm. The role includes heavy lifting and work in a warehouse environment.

This full-time position offers $18–$19 per hour, requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Training is available and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to drive a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willing to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires to Sun Auto Tire shops in the Lincoln area.
• Work with warehouse and distribution tasks from 4am to 3pm.
• Assist in handling shipments and loading/unloading tires.

Overview

T.O. Haas Tire handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Lincoln, Nebraska area. When not on the road, this position includes working within the warehouse to help prepare shipments. We have anopeningfor a Driver for our Warehouse/Distribution Center.

This position will be delivering tires to our T.O. Haas shops from 4am - 3pm and requires heavy lifting.

COMPENSATION: Pay ranges from $18- $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

T.O. Hass is willing to train the right person. The most successful candidates possess the following qualifications, which are expected of applicants.

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Approved driving record
• Ability to drive a box truck
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Driver will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The Driver must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
