Job summary

T.O. Haas Tire is hiring a Driver for our Lincoln, NE warehouse and distribution team. You will deliver tires to T.O. Haas shops from 4am to 3pm, involving heavy lifting and daily vehicle operation.

When not on the road, you will assist in the warehouse with shipments and stock management. Training is available; must have a valid driver’s license and a clean record. Growth opportunities exist within the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Ability to drive a box truck.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Willing to work five days, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

T.O. Haas Tire serves the community! We have been in business since 1947, T.O. Haas Tire has 24 locations across Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa and we’re growing fast! We sell many tire brands for cars, pickups, SUVs, tractors, trailers, ATVs, pivot irrigation systems, and more. In addition to tires, wheels, and batteries, T.O. Haas Tire & Auto performs many automotive services including oil changes, alignments, brakes, exhaust, shocks, struts, cooling systems, transmission fluid flush, and more. We employ ASE Certified Technicians to keep your vehicle riding and running at its best.

T.O. Haas Tire handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Lincoln, Nebraska area. When not on the road, this position includes working within the warehouse to help prepare shipments. We have anopeningfor a Driver for our Warehouse/Distribution Center.

COMPENSATION: Pay ranges from $16- $18 per hour, depending on experience.

This position will be delivering tires to our T.O. Haas shops from 4am - 3pm and requires heavy lifting.

Qualifications:

T.O. Hass is willing to train the right person. The most successful candidates possess the following qualifications, which are expected of applicants.

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation

• Ability to drive a box truck
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift a minimum of seventy-five (75) pounds
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Driver will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

The Driver must be able to meet the following physical requirements:

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
