Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Lincoln, NE seeks a Driver for our Warehouse/Distribution Center. The role involves delivering tires to Sun Auto shops from 4am to 3pm, with heavy lifting and warehouse prep duties.

Pay ranges from $18-$19 per hour, depending on experience, and responsibilities include safe operation and teamwork. The position requires a valid license, ability to drive a box truck, and willingness to work five days a week including Saturdays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires to T.O. Haas shops from 4am to 3pm.
• Assist in warehouse to prepare shipments for distribution.
• Handle heavy lifting and safe material movement.
• Interact with shop personnel and customers as needed.
• Maintain safe driving and operational practices in all conditions.

Job description

T.O. Haas Tire handles the inventory needs of its store locations and wholesale customers through the Lincoln, Nebraska area. When not on the road, this position includes working within the warehouse to help prepare shipments.

Driver

We have an opening for a Driver for our Warehouse/Distribution Center.

This position will be delivering tires to our T.O. Haas shops from 4am - 3pm and requires heavy lifting.

COMPENSATION: Pay ranges from $18- $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

The Driver will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
