Job summary

Exxpress Tire, LLC is seeking Delivery Drivers to join our team in the Greater Syracuse Area. You will transport goods safely and on time, verify paperwork, collect payments, and work with the dispatcher to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

We offer full-time schedules, health and life insurance, paid vacations and sick time, employee discounts, a 401(k) plan with company contributions, and paid holidays. Drivers must have a clean NY Driver’s License and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle merchandise safely.

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise.
• Performing basic truck safety checks.
• Obtaining signatures for transfers when needed.
• Assisting customers with order verification and payment collection.
• Communicating with dispatch throughout the day.
• Maintaining rotating Saturday shifts.

Job description

Exxpress Tire, a growing and thriving tire wholesaler, is looking for Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. At Exxpress Tire, our Delivery Drivers transport goods safely and timely to our customers throughout the Greater Syracuse Area. In addition to driving, Delivery Drivers ensure the accuracy of outbound and inbound merchandise, collect and verify the correct paperwork and monies from customers, and work collaboratively with the dispatcher.

• Full-Time
• Start Immediately
• Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 / hour
• Monday - Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading merchandise
• Performing basic truck safety checklists
• Obtaining the proper signatures upon transfer of goods when needed
• Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order's accuracy
• Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods.
• Communicating with dispatch regularly throughout the day
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Maintain a valid NY Driver's License
• Misc. warehouse duties as assigned
• Drive safety and considerately
• Pulling product to fill orders
• Notify your supervisor immediately if your license has been suspended, expired, or of any new driving violations
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays

Qualifications:

• Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs.
• A clean valid NY State Driver’s License
• 3 years of licensed driving experience
• Possess good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional appearance.
• Forklift and Picker experience is not required but is considered a plus
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
