Job summary

Exxpress Tire, LLC, a wholesale tire distributor, is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and on time across the Greater Buffalo Area, verify outbound/inbound paperwork, collect payments when required, and maintain clear communication with the dispatcher.

Qualifications include a clean NY State driver’s license, at least 3 years of licensed driving experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, good customer service, and a professional appearance; forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise.
• Performing basic truck safety checklists.
• Obtaining signatures for transfers when needed.
• Assisting customers with unloading and verifying orders.
• Collecting and verifying payment for delivered goods.
• Communicating with dispatch throughout the day.
• Maintaining a clean driving record and a valid NY license.
• Executing miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned.
• Drive safely and considerately.
• Pulling product to fill orders.
• Notify supervisor if license status changes.
• Work rotating Saturdays.

Job description

Exxpress Tire, a growing and thriving tire wholesaler, is looking for Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. At Exxpress Tire, our Delivery Drivers transport goods safely and timely to our customers throughout the Greater Buffalo Area. In addition to driving, Delivery Drivers ensure the accuracy of outbound and inbound merchandise, collect and verify the correct paperwork and monies from customers, and work collaboratively with the dispatcher.

• Full-Time
• Start Immediately
• Pay: $17.00- $18.00 / hour
• Monday - Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading merchandise
• Performing basic truck safety checklists
• Obtaining the proper signatures upon transfer of goods when needed
• Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order's accuracy
• Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods.
• Communicating with dispatch regularly throughout the day
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Maintain a valid NY Driver's License
• Misc. warehouse duties as assigned
• Drive safety and considerately
• Pulling product to fill orders
• Notify your supervisor immediately if your license has been suspended, expired, or of any new driving violations
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays

Qualifications:

• Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs.
• A clean valid NY State Driver’s License
• 3 years of licensed driving experience
• Possess good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional appearance.
• Forklift and Picker experience is not required but is considered a plus
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
