Job summary

Exxpress Tire is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport goods to customers in the Greater Erie Area. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, order verification, collecting payments, and coordinating with dispatch. Requires a clean driving record and PA driver’s license with 3 years of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise.
• Perform basic truck safety checks.
• Obtain signatures during transfers as needed.
• Assist customers with order accuracy and verification.
• Collect and verify payments for delivered goods.
• Communicate with dispatch regularly.
• Maintain a clean driving record and PA license.
• Handle miscellaneous warehouse duties as assigned.
• Drive safely and considerately.
• Pull products to fill orders.
• Notify supervisor if license is suspended or if violations occur.
• Work rotating Saturdays.

Exxpress Tire, a growing and thriving tire wholesaler, is looking for Delivery Drivers to join our growing team. At Exxpress Tire, our Delivery Drivers transport goods safely and timely to our customers throughout the Greater Erie Area. In addition to driving, Delivery Drivers ensure the accuracy of outbound and inbound merchandise, collect and verify the correct paperwork and monies from customers, and work collaboratively with the dispatcher.

• Full-Time
• Start Immediately
• Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 / hour
• Monday - Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. with rotating Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading merchandise
• Performing basic truck safety checklists
• Obtaining the proper signatures upon transfer of goods when needed
• Assisting customers in the unloading and verification of their order's accuracy
• Collecting and verifying the proper payment for delivered goods.
• Communicating with dispatch regularly throughout the day
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Maintain a valid PA Driver's License
• Misc. warehouse duties as assigned
• Drive safety and considerately
• Pulling product to fill orders
• Notify your supervisor immediately if your license has been suspended, expired, or of any new driving violations
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays

Qualifications:

• Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs.
• A clean valid PA State Driver’s License
• 3 years of licensed driving experience
• Possess good customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a professional appearance.
• Forklift and Picker experience is not required but is considered a plus
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays
