Schaedler Yesco Distribution in Allentown, PA is seeking a warehouse associate with delivery responsibilities to support inventory, packing, shipping, and back-up box truck delivery. This role operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires reliable teamwork and safety-conscious performance.

The position schedules Mon-Fri starting at 5 AM, with duties including pulling/packing orders, loading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment.
• One year of box truck delivery experience required.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pack orders.
• Unload, receive, and put away stock when needed.
• Prepare orders to ship via 3rd party.
• Load trucks.
• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Back-up driver for morning and afternoon run.
• Back-up the Wire Services department as needed.

Summary/ Objective:

This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of warehousing functions including; delivering, storing, processing, and loading of warehouse inventory as well as being a backup box truck delivery driver.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5 AM- until deliveries are completed.

Essential Functions:

• Pull and pack orders
• Unload, receive, and put away stock when needed
• Prepare orders to ship via 3 rd party
• Load trucks
• Ensure inventory accuracy
• Back-up driver for morning and afternoon run
• Back-up the Wire Services department as needed.
• Basic mathematics skills

This job most operates within the warehouse setting. Varying temperatures and moving equipment are presented in the warehouse. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands:

• the ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted
• The ability to climb a ladder
• The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
• Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment.
• One year of experience driving a 24ft- 26ft box truck for delivery required.
