Job summary

Schaedler Yesco Distribution is seeking a warehouse associate to perform a variety of tasks including delivering, storing, processing, and loading inventory. The role also serves as a backup box truck delivery driver for routes in the New Castle area.

Primary duties involve pulling and packing orders, assisting customers, unloading and stocking, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This position operates in a warehouse environment with potential forklift use and requires reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and order fulfillment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate forklifts.
• One year of box truck delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pack orders.
• Help Will Call customers.
• Unload, receive, and put away stock when needed.
• Prepare orders to ship via 3rd party.
• Load trucks and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Back-up driver for morning and afternoon run.
• Back-up the Wire Services department as needed.

Summary/ Objective

This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of warehousing functions including; delivering, storing, processing, and loading of warehouse inventory as well as being a backup box truck delivery driver.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM- until deliveries are completed

Job location: 218 Old Youngstown Rd, New Castle, PA 16101

Essential Functions

Work Environment

This job most operates within the warehouse setting. Varying temperatures and moving equipment are presented in the warehouse. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

• The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
• Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
• Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Education And Experience

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Valid drivers license.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and similar equipment.
• One year of experience driving a 24ft- 26ft box truck for delivery perferred but not required.
