Job summary

DM Burr Group is hiring a part-time School District Delivery Driver (1st shift) in Akron, OH. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm in the Oak Park School District with possible overtime. Wage: $17.75/hour, DailyPay offered.

Responsibilities include processing work orders, safely delivering supplies to schools, keeping the warehouse organized, and assisting with trash removal. Requirements: GED/HS diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and pass a background/DMV check.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Must pass background and DMV checks.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.

• Safely and securely deliver inter-district supplies.
• Deliver supplies, furniture and equipment to all district schools.
• Maintain the warehouse to keep it organized and accessible.
• Perform daily trash removal of obsolete items or equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Receive work orders and document completion with labor hours
• Safely and securely deliver inter-district supplies
• Safely and securely deliver supplies, furniture & equipment to all schools in the district
• Maintain the warehouse as directed to maintain organization and access
• Perform daily trash removal of obsolete items or equipment as directed
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Previous custodial/ janitorial experience.
• GED/High School Diploma
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license (no restrictions)
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a DMV check (have a clean driving record) to be approved to drive company vehicles
