Job summary

Rexel USA in Glenwood Springs, CO, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Driver I or II to join our team. The role involves efficiently filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Up to 50% of time may involve delivering products in a van or box truck (No CDL required). The position emphasizes safe driving, proper documentation, and reliability, with training provided for entry-level drivers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and immediately address safety concerns
• Receive material from vendors/customers/other warehouses and verify quantity/description against packing list
• Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves and report freight damage claims
• Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure correct number/type of product is shipped
• Process shipping paperwork, verify merchandise, apply postage, seal shipments, and insure as needed
• Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Operate delivery vehicles to make deliveries to/from customers, branches, and suppliers
• Inspect company vehicle and complete a daily inspection report
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; notify supervisor of repairs
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and local/state driving laws
• Load/unload vehicle and ensure all materials per order are correct and undamaged
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed with a customer signature, packing list, and manifest
• Pickup material returns from customers and inspect condition/quantities/catalog numbers
• Pickup material from company suppliers
• Participate in training of entry-level Truck Drivers and provide mentorship
• May perform other duties including counter sales and customer support
• Perform other duties as assigned
