You will check orders for accuracy, communicate with customers, and support yard and warehouse operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving and complying with company safety standards to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with delivery, material handling and/or warehouse required.
• Ability to do basic math and read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
• Proficiency with or the ability to learn smartphone, GPS and business apps.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and deliver materials to job sites.
• Check orders for accuracy and organize/secure loads.
• Obtain supervisor approval on loads and conditions.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and housekeeping in yard/warehouse.
• Provide excellent customer service and relay messages from customers.
• Support other drivers and feel free to assist in other areas as needed.
