Job summary

PGTEK is seeking an experienced Cloud/IT Architect to lead end-to-end solution design for large, strategic Dell initiatives in collaboration with Sales and Enterprise Architects. The role focuses on SOW ownership, customer outcomes, and alignment with Dell Tech Services capabilities.

The candidate will drive architecture, operating model, and delivery governance, ensuring senior-level credibility and seamless coordination across delivery teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong business acumen and executive communication are required.
• Experience with large-scale automation and cloud solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end solution design and its execution
• Leveraging deep expertise in data center technologies and Dell portfolio
• Accountable for SOW authorship and alignment of technology to customer objectives
• Proactively communicate and build credibility with the customer as a trusted adviser
• Collaborate with delivery PM, sales, and broader delivery team
• Define future state roadmap and provide technical oversight through delivery
• Provide LOE and final deliverables to customer executives
• Lead steering committee and delivery governance
• Engage in post-delivery discussions on future-state solutions
• Identify future sales opportunities with Sales

• Meets customer's required outcomes.
• Aligns with Dell Tech Services delivery capabilities.
• Share account relationship with the delivery Program Manager from delivery governance and execution standpoint.

Salary:** $180,000 - $230,000

Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end solution design and its execution
• Leveraging deep expertise in data center technologies and knowledge of Dell's portfolio of products.
• Accountable for SOW authorship along with Services Solutions Principals, overall architecture, operating model, and alignment of the technology to business objectives of the customer
• Proactively communicate and build strong credibility with the customer to become a trusted advisor and "go-to" technical counsel.
• Collaborating with delivery PM, sales, and broader delivery team
• Understand customer business requirements.
• Define future state roadmap, design end-to-end solution, and provide technical oversight through delivery execution.
• Align broader delivery team with customer expectations/outcomes.
• Provide iterative technical thought leadership on execution to ensure customer outcomes are achieved as defined in SOW.

• Conduct and engage in design reviews internally and with customer stakeholders.
• Present LOE and SOW and final deliverables to customer c-suite executives
• Provide escalations POC guidance on triaging critical issues and decisions
• Co-lead Steering Committee/delivery governance with delivery Program Manager
• Engage in post-delivery meetings with Customer to discuss future-state solutions.
• Proactively communicate future sales opportunities with Sales.

Desired Skills

• Strong C-suite presence with excellent business acumen
• Oral and written communication skills
• Experience or familiarity in large scale automation (e.g. vRealize, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Razor, Hamlin) and concepts of continuous integration and delivery.
• Considerable experience in developing IT roadmaps, maturity assessments and Cloud solutions.
• Experience in pre-sales or Sales is a plus.

Required Skills And Education

• A minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required.
• A business background is a plus.
• Strong expertise in Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud strategy, design and execution is required.
• Sound understanding of Virtualization, XaaS, DevOps, Cloud native technologies.
• 10+ years of experience as a Cloud/IT architect, Technology Consultant or as a CTO for global organization leading Digital or IT transformations, service management or service-oriented orgs.
