Job summary

The City of Hampton is seeking a detail-oriented Deputy II Delinquent Tax Coordinator to join our finance team. You will assist in collecting delinquent personal property and real estate taxes and maintain accurate records while delivering high-quality service to residents.

Under close supervision and following established procedures, you will help support the city's fiscal responsibilities and contribute to financial stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus training equivalent to an Associate’s degree.
• Two years of full-time accounting or fiscal record keeping experience.
• Education and experience may be combined.
• Criminal background check required.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
