The position involves communicating with customers about delinquent balances, arranging payments, and making occasional service disconnects/reconnects. Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED and demonstrate safety compliance, data accuracy, and the ability to work across districts with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related work experience.
• Ability to work safely and follow safety rules.
• Basic knowledge of electricity in service areas is a plus.
• Must lift and carry 25 pounds and be able to walk/driving inclines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers about delinquent balances and payment options.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Process customer transactions and balance daily activity.
• Verify data on checks and stubs; forward for processing.
• Refer customers to CARES for counseling and payment assistance.
• Disclose adverse safety conditions to supervision.
• Trains other employees as required.
• Operate transportation equipment as needed in emergencies.
• Work across multiple districts and non-standard hours.
