Job summary

GreenState Credit Union is seeking a Collections Associate to analyze and determine factors causing accounts to be delinquent or overdrawn, and to resolve those issues through member outreach. You will document all communications, apply payments accurately, and coordinate actions to minimize financial loss while upholding the credit union's values.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of call center experience, with at least 2 years in collections.
• Bondable and willing to work varied hours including possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Review daily delinquency queues and contact accounts via telephone, electronic, and written correspondence.
• Confer with members to determine delinquency causes and arrange action to resolve the full delinquency.
• Document all communications and update member records; perform skip-tracing as required.
• Process payments and ensure accurate application of funds.
• Refer members to financial counseling resources as needed.
