Job summary

NYC District Council Carpenters Welfare Fund is seeking a Delinquency Analyst to resolve past-due employer accounts in line with the Benefit Funds’ policies. You will review claims, verify shortages, communicate with employers, and prepare payment plans.

This role requires precise record-keeping and collaboration with internal teams and outside counsel. The position emphasizes analytical decision-making, timely resolutions, and accurate reconciliation of delinquent accounts, with a strong focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience maintaining detailed records with high accuracy.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve past-due employer accounts per bargaining agreements and policy.
• Review pay stubs and contribution records for validity of shortages.
• Communicate with employers to resolve outstanding shortage claims.
• Prepare payment plan calculations and respond to inquiries from internal/external parties.
• Update records and assist in allocation of payments to delinquencies.
