Job summary

The GIANT Company in Saxton, PA is seeking a deli team member to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, package products, and stock shelves, cases, and bins while keeping displays neat and signed.

As part of a team that serves neighbors across Pennsylvania, you will provide friendly service, answer questions, make recommendations, and promote products through suggestive selling, while following safety and sanitation

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service. Help customers, co-workers and vendors.
• Receive, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, coding, rotating, organizing cases, and cleaning.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations for the deli area.
• Provide friendly and courteous service; answer questions and promote products.
