Job summary

The GIANT Company in Aston, PA is seeking a deli team member responsible for handling all deli products, from receiving to stocking and displaying, while delivering excellent customer service. You will process, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products and maintain clean, safe prep and display areas.

Responsibilities include following safety and sanitation standards, complying with federal/state regulations, and completing ELM training as added to the learning page.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to customers, co-workers, vendors, and business associates.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions including coding, rotating, organizing cases, and cleaning.
• Maintain prep area cleanliness and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations in the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions including sweeping and mopping.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as added to the learning page.
