Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases, and cleaning.
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service and promote products through suggestive selling.
• Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as they are added to the learning page.
