Job summary

The GIANT Company is hiring to support deli operations in our PA location. The primary role focuses on handling and knowledge of deli products, customer service, and accurate stocking for attractive displays.

Team members will process, weigh, wrap, and package items, while maintaining safety and cleanliness across storage and prep areas. A strong emphasis on following policies and PPE guidelines helps ensure quality for our customers and communities.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service is an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, to include stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions to include coding, rotating, organizing cases of product (frequently weighing more than 20 lbs. and occasionally weighing up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintain proper prep area conditions, to include cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area.
