Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Deli Team Member to handle and know everything about deli products. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package items, then stock shelves and display them neatly for customers in a busy grocery setting.

You will ensure proper cooler conditions, follow safety rules, and provide exceptionally friendly service. Training includes ELM courses and adherence to company policies and PPE requirements to support a safe, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as part of GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions including stocking and rotating products.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions and ensure product organization.
• Keep prep and work areas clean and sanitized.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations in the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions and assist customers.
• Offer friendly service, make recommendations, and promote products.
• Dress according to policy and stay neat and professional.
• Complete ELM training courses as added to the learning page.
