Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing hot and cold deli foods.
• Clean, assemble and prepare equipment for operation and inspect working order.
• Adhere to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating deli products.
• Stack pallets and sort product into correct locations per efficiency standards.
• Provide friendly, customer-service oriented attitude by greeting customers and taking orders in person or by phone.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping area by following safety procedures.
