Weis Markets is seeking a Deli Associate at our location on 4521 William Penn Highway. We value respect, teamwork, and community growth, and we train associates to deliver quality service and fresh products to our customers.

You will help keep the deli stocked, greet customers, and prepare sliced meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat items to order. The role emphasizes food safety, proper pricing, and courteous service, with potential cash handling and occasional cross-department support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; no prior experience required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and follow food safety standards.
• Willingness to work with tobacco/alcohol sale policies and state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Keep deli service areas stocked and appealing.
• Greet customers and answer questions in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate slicing equipment and prepare ready-to-eat foods to order.
• Follow recipes and safety policies when preparing foods.
• May handle cash register and ensure proper money handling.
• Maintain sanitation and health compliance in the department.
• Assist with inventory control and receiving deliveries as needed.
