Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli service areas stocked and appealing.
• Greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensures freshness and correct prices/signs on merchandise.
• Properly rotates product.
• Handles spoiled or damaged products per company procedures.
• Operates slicing equipment to provide meats and cheeses per customer preferences.
• Prepares ready-to-eat foods to order.
• Prepares platters of sliced meats, cheeses and vegetables.
• Adheres to recipes and safety policies when preparing food.
• May operate cash register; money handling.
• Follows tobacco and alcohol sale policies.
• Maintains sanitation; follows cleaning schedules.
• Assists in inventory and log keeping.
• May assist with receiving/unloading deliveries.
