Our Deli Team Leader manages the entire Deli Team and ensures smooth operations. You will be the go-to person for Team Members and guests regarding school lunches and holiday party platters. Leaders are responsible for the department's performance at all times. Represent the organization professionally, promote mutual respect, inclusion, diversity, and dignity. Coach Team Members regularly, providing timely feedback, and identify development opportunities to foster success.
Job Description
- Experience Required: Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation
- Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; Successful performance as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or similar role; Good performance and discipline record
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
- Primary duties include interviewing, selecting, and training Team Members; directing their work; appraising productivity; handling issues; disciplining; planning and distributing work; ensuring safety; managing budgets and inventory; and monitoring compliance.
- Oversee and evaluate training to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
