Meijer Inc. is seeking a motivated team member to enhance the customer shopping experience and support daily department operations. You will engage customers, guide daily tasks, and coach peers to meet service and sales goals while maintaining Meijer standards.

You will help with stocking, pricing, and product displays, support training initiatives, and ensure food safety and safety compliance. The role offers opportunities for growth within a family-centered company.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to provide the best possible shopping experience
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals
• Support training new teammates and cross-training high-potential talent
• Assist with department scheduling to improve engagement, service, and profitability
• Ensure product freshness and adherence to dating policies
• Lead by example and promote Meijer culture and DEI values
• Operate a register and handle cash when needed
• Participate in period end inventories and support other departments as needed
